The real estate market in France is not centralised.
A complete list of all apartments available in the country does not exist.
To search for an apartment or house, one therefore has to consult estate agencies, advertisements, internet, minitel, newspapers…
French relocation firms, members of the syndicate, work with but are completely independent with regard to estate agencies. Our fees are fixed, the estimates are given in advance and are not at all related to the rent paid :

In France, things are relatively simple:
To rent an apartment as an individual, one has to justify a certain level of income : the net salary must be equivalent to four times the rent.

There are basically 3 types of apartment buildings in Paris :

They are often completely renovated inside to provide modern comfort, but the parquet floors, the mouldings, old chimneys and high ceilings are usually preserved. The rooms are generally quite big. |
Cupboard space is usually very limited and there is never a car park under the building.
They lack charm, but they are functional : a lot of cupboard space.. |

They often have a car park under the building. The bedrooms are usually small (about 12m2). |
Some of these buildings are 10 or 20 storeys high.

There are usually fitted cupboards in the apartments and an underground car park.
The different types of rented apartments
Apartments are either rented completely empty or completely furnished. Semi-furnished apartments do not exist.

A fully equipped kitchen is very unusual in an " empty " apartment.
Fully furnished :
All furniture included, kitchen fully equipped with appliances and utensils, iron, vacuum cleaner, TV... Bedding is even sometimes provided.
